Most politicians and media outlets employ morally questionable practices. These practices include “framing” and “spinning” stories in order to further their own agendas. Mechanisms based on untruthful messages are thus set in motion, and cannot be undone.

In the absence of any higher moral authority, the lying continues unchecked, bar the meagre efforts of other mendacious media outlets and politicians, who vociferously uphold their own illusory claim to the truth.

The artificiality exhibited by individuals and institutions telling these fabricated stories is akin to vomit spewing from a mouth or faeces being excreted from an anal orifice.
